1.Cut your Calories Moderately
Cut down your calories by 10-15%, don't get crazy and starve yourself. Your body will hang onto any fat you have if you starve yourself.
2.Eat more frequently
Notice I didn't say eat more. Eat smaller meals throughout the day. 6 meals a day is great if you can do it. This allows the nutrients to be dispursed throughout the day. Smaller meals will decrease body fat over time.
3.Drink more water
Dehydrated people have a lower metabolic rate. Drink more water to speed up your metabolism. We are made up of over 80% water and the body needs lots of it to maintain itself.
4.Have a smaller evening meal
If you eat a big dinner before bed you are only going to end up retaining the dinner in the form of fat. Eat moderate amounts throughout the day.
5.Use some spices
Spices speed up your metabolism causing fat loss.
6.Make sure you eat your favorite foods once in a while
Having a piece of pie, or some ice cream once in a while is ok. Just don't eat a whole container's worth. Pick a day out of the week to eat a little more than usual. By doing this you are less likely to binge or to snack repeatedly during the week.
7.Watch your carbohydrates
Don't eat lots of carbohydrates and no vegetables. Eat a variety of foods and not just one kind of food. Too many carbs such as bread, and rice will only add on the weight.
8.Losing weight and keeping it off
Go slow when dieting because if you lose all the weight in a short period of time you are at a higher risk of putting the weight back on.
