As an athlete, your lower body muscles can tighten up after workouts which will negatively affect your performance. Lower body stretching and mobility should be done post workouts and competition. To benefit from lower body stretching be sure to complete these stretches daily for improvement. These stretches should not be painful, so stop immediately if you feel pain.
