Strength Combo Workout // Standing Exercises to Build Muscle

Description

This new workout will quickly become your new favorite full body weight training workout! We will work the entire body in a standing position and all exercises are osteoporosis friendly. Exercises are set to a timer so go at your own pace and use weights that are appropriate for your fitness level. For this workout I'm using a set of 3lb (1.5kg) weights and a set of 8lb (3.5kg)weights.

The workout is as follows:

  • 45 seconds upper body exercise

  • 45 seconds upper body exercise

  • 45 seconds lower body exercise

  • 45 seconds lower body exercise

  • 60 seconds combo upper body

  • 60 seconds combo lower body This totals one round.

There are 4 rounds total in this video. I'm using the lighter set of weights for rounds 1&3 and the medium/heavy set for rounds 2&4.

Have a chair nearby for balance support and to use to sit and stretch in for our cool down.
