This bodyweight workout destroyed Magnus Midtbø - professional climber meets calisthenics
Description
In this video I do a bodyweight workout routine with Magnus Midtbø. The calisthenics workout uses gymnastics ring and works our entire upper body. This gymnastics rings workout is designed to be adjustable for all levels and me and Magnus both use exercises that are appropriate for our level.
The idea behind this workout video is to teach you how you can adjust exercises to suit your individual level and that bodyweight workout is just as efficient as weight lifting if you know how to adjust your exercises to ensure progressive overload. Magnus Midtbø is a professional climber with years of training experience and even he can get an efficient and strength wise challenging workout using only his bodyweight as resistence.
In this workout we do train towards the one arm pull-up using resistance bands. We also adjust the dip to be challenging enough for our strength level. In a previous video Magnus learned how to do handstand push-up, so we use this as a bodyweight exercise to train shoulders. An exercise focusing
