Somatic Yin Yoga to release Endorphins | 35 minutes

Description

In this 35-minute Somatic Exercises, Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra practice, I guide you through a deeply nourishing somatic yin yoga journey designed to support the natural release of endorphins while gently lowering stress hormones. This class blends slow yin yoga, mindful somatic exercises, and a restful Yoga Nidra integration to calm the nervous system, hydrate the fascia, and invite a sense of safety, pleasure, and ease back into the body.

We move slowly and intentionally, using somatics and long-held yin postures to encourage myofascial release yoga, stimulate the vagus nerve, and support healthy neurotransmitter balance—inviting the body’s natural flow of oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine. This is a supportive yoga somatic practice for days when you feel depleted, overstimulated, or simply in need of deep restoration.

Throughout this yin yoga class, we explore gentle vagus nerve yoga techniques and subtle vagus nerve stimulation yoga cues that help shift you toward a parasympathetic state. These somatic exercises to reduce cortisol are especially helpful for chronic stress, nervous system fatigue, emotional holding, and tension stored in the connective tissues.

This practice supports somatic yoga to lower cortisol and somatic yoga to reduce cortisol, yoga for the vagus nerve, fascia hydration through myofascial release, emotional release, and nervous system regulation, while encouraging endorphin, oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine balance.

This somatic yin experience is gentle, accessible, and deeply grounding—perfect for unwinding at the end of the day or anytime you want to reconnect inward. Practice on the floor with props if you have them, and allow yourself to rest deeply during the closing Yoga Nidra.
